A great day with a small round (Komoot activated too late again) on the summit of Foja - at 902 m the highest mountain in the Algarve. A paradise for racing cyclists. About 130 motorcycles from the Faro motorcycle club were also on the road today. About 5 km before the summit we made a short stop in the car …

Today we explored the highest mountain in the Algarve - the Fóia. We decided not to hike up, however, as the mountain is over 900m high. Instead, we took a short hike around the summit and enjoyed the view(s). The weather was OK, but very cool (around 15 degrees) and very windy.
