Went up to Doi Suthep temple for sunrise by taxi and headed back down the monk's Trail. Most people were going in the opposite direction but I would recommend this direction if you don't want to do the full loop

From the base camp of the Monkey Trail we go via Wat Pha Lat to the imposing Wat Doi Suthep, the top spot in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. The climb from 770 meters in altitude to only 5KM in high humidity is tough. So start early in the morning!🤠😎👍
