A very beautiful path with hedges typical of the region and a view of the "Tuscany of Limburg." The "Tuscany of Limburg" is a collection of trees (poplars) which, from a distance, resemble a typical Tuscan landscape.

Along the walking path stands the memorial cross for John Gallagher, a place that invites reflection and respect. Surrounded by nature, you can pause here to breathe in the tranquility of the forest and take a moment to reflect.

Amidst rolling meadows and quiet country lanes, a magnificent view of the village of Simpelveld unfolds. From this vantage point, you can see the church tower rising above the rooftops, surrounded by the rolling South Limburg landscape. In the distance, you can sometimes hear the whistle of the Miljoenenlijn (Millionaire Line) as the wind gently blows through the tall grass.

Along the Eyserbeek stream, you'll walk through one of the most peaceful and picturesque areas in South Limburg. The water meanders between green meadows and ancient trees, while dragonflies and birds enliven the scene.

From this point, the Limburg landscape unfolds in all its glory. Rolling hills, winding field lanes, and scattered farms combine to create the recognizable rhythm of South Limburg. On clear days, you can see for miles across green valleys, small villages, and church towers towering above the land.

Along the path between the greenery and with a view over the hills stands a simple wooden cross with a bench next to it.
