With your gaze on infinity, follow this wonderful path along the Amertak. This canal connects the river Amer with the Wilhelminakanaal. The canal was originally dug to relieve the stream Donge. Today, the waterway is mainly used by commercial shipping.

Fort Lunet is the home of the Biesbosch National Park. There is a moat around the building and on the other side of the river you can see the fortified town of Geertruidenberg. Directly on the water and surrounded by greenery, that is where you will find Fort Lunet. When you walk through the gates you enter the spacious outdoor area. It is fun here in the summer for young and old. Get a drink at the outdoor bar and enjoy the sun. The children can play on the bouncy castle while you enjoy some music in the background.

Fort Lunet in the Geertruidenberg fortress was closed in 1919 as a defense structure. Nowadays you can enjoy lunch, drinks, dinner or specialty beer there. In winter (November-April) the fort is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm. From April 1, the fort will be open daily from noon to 10 p.m.

Fort Lunet in Raamsdonksveer was only built after the Belgian revolt to strengthen the existing line. Nowadays you can enjoy lunch, drinks and/or dinner in the restaurant of this beautifully restored fortress in Raamsdonksveer.
