A very beautiful path that runs around the small town, which is also worth seeing. It's also worth exploring the path outside the small town by bike. It's very well-maintained and quiet.

The Belgian Erebegraafplaats Willemstad is a military cemetery located on the Hollandsch Diep in the Dutch town of Willemstad.[1] The cemetery contains the graves of 159 dead from the Second World War, originating from Belgium. Most of them, 134, were prisoners of war of the Germans and were transported by ship to prison camps. They died when their ship, the Rhenus 127, hit a mine on 30 May 1940. Some of the victims had previously been buried in the cemetery behind the Protestant church of Willemstad; that cemetery became full and, partly for reasons of public health, it was decided to use a new mass grave on the Hollandsch Diep. Later, 25 other Belgians who had died elsewhere in the Netherlands were buried here. The name of one of them is unknown. Their names were added to the monument in 1963. The cemetery was officially opened on 29 May 1950. There is a limestone memorial stone (note the different colours of the stones) of three by three metres, one metre high, with the names of the 159 soldiers. It is provided with the text HERE REST 134 BELGIANS Fallen for their fatherland and ours 30 May 1940 and the same text in French.

The Dome Church Willemstad is a church in the center of Willemstad in the province of North Brabant. It was the first church, designed by Coenraat Norenburch, in the Northern Netherlands that was built specifically for Protestant services. Construction began in 1597 and was completed in 1607. Prince Maurits provided financial support for the church, on the condition that it would be built in a round or octagonal shape. The church is currently used by the Reformed Church/PKN and is a national monument.

It is certainly worth taking a walk along the city wall next to the harbour and the old city centre. Old bunkers and sometimes beautiful views

The Koepelkerk is located in the centre of the fortified city of Willemstad. This church from 1607 was built with financial support from Prince Maurits and is the first church in the Netherlands that was built specifically for Protestant worship. The church was built in an octagonal shape (central construction) entirely in accordance with Prince Maurits' wishes. The church was built without a wreath of chapels and aisles. Not the altar, but the pulpit had to form the centre. The church is a model for many later Protestant churches. Over the years, the Koepelkerk has been rebuilt and restored. During the opening hours, visitors can learn about the history of the church using panels and texts and climb the tower. The hostesses and hosts present will also be happy to tell you more about the church. The Friends of the Koepelkerk Foundation regularly organises exhibitions in the tower that can be viewed during a visit to the Koepelkerk. The location is accessible for wheelchair or mobility scooter users. Source: visitbrabant
