Just enjoying watching the boats for a bit.

This is the De Arend corn mill in Zuidland. Year of construction: The mill was built in 1844 by order of Pieter de Gilde. Type: It is a round, white-plastered stone smock mill. Location: The mill is located on Molendijk in Zuidland, in the province of South Holland. Current function: The mill is still in operation and also serves as a shop selling various types of flour.

Beautiful little lighthouse in the "inland".

In the Netherlands you can observe all sorts of different types of bridges: here a swing bridge.

Bicycle tunnel under the Meuse River. It's quite cool inside the tunnel, and you have to cycle through a small dip. To avoid the escalator/elevator, you can use the bus lane and then switch to the bicycle tunnel.

The Heenvliet pit was created in the 1970s and 1980s during large-scale sand extraction for infrastructure construction in the Rotterdam region. Today, the old sand extraction pit has been redeveloped for recreational use.

Less beautiful than the old Maastunnel, but definitely a worthwhile experience to cycle through here.
