Molen 't Slot is a corn mill. Molen 't Slot is located near the old city center on a very beautiful spot along the Hollandse IJssel on the city wall. The dark green painted beard with a white edge reads: 't Slot ANNO 1832. As early as 1581, the city council granted permission to build a corn mill on the site on the foundations of the castle of the Lords of Ter Gouw, which had been demolished shortly before. The management of this mill has been the responsibility of the association of Gouda Millers since Monument Day 2019.
