The Oder floodplains lie between the Stromoder (the border river Oder) and the Alter Oder. The open and fertile landscape was shaped by the annual floods of the Oder. Agriculture and livestock farming suddenly supported fishing. Now a great piece of nature with numerous birds and insects. Just enjoy. In any season. You won't get bored while walking 😀

In the colonist village (settled between 1753/1756) there are guest houses, cafés and restaurants. Ideal for starting a tour north or south on the Oderdammweg or as a stopover.

After the Mucker Bridge and directly at the foot of the Oder dike, there is a ditch that must be crossed. This small bridge is for this purpose. It is basically the starting point for the dike climb.

No, this bridge does not cross the Oder but the Mucker, although the Oder is very close. Nevertheless, it is very idyllic, quiet and offers a great view.

Great, quiet running path. This section is impressive because of the lively Oder meadows, countless animals, the run on the border, the mighty border river Oder and, in addition to the peace and quiet, the endless, wide views. Fantastic.
