Located directly between the beach and the promenade, it accommodates numerous sailboats, motorboats, and yachts from all over Europe. Cozy restaurants, cafés, and bars surrounding the harbor—including the famous "Vielmeer"—invite you to linger and enjoy the waterfront. The Kühlungsborn beach promenade is one of the longest and most beautiful on the German Baltic coast. It stretches approximately four kilometers along the fine sandy beach and connects the districts of Kühlungsborn East and Kühlungsborn West. As you stroll, a fresh sea breeze blows, seagulls circle above the waves, and the sound of the Baltic Sea accompanies every step.

The guesthouse served as accommodation for visitors to the monastery in the Middle Ages and is now a preserved ruin, a reminder of the monastery's medieval significance. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the monastery church and the visitor center. The ruins are now integrated into hiking and cultural trails and can be explored as part of city tours or private visits.

The beach has been awarded the "Blue Flag," confirming its high water quality and environmental standards.
