Nice place for a break where you can look at the Baltic Sea

From here, you have a fantastic view of Kühlungsborn and the Baltic Sea. The climb from the north is already quite steep by bike. Those who prefer a less steep route should cycle to the lighthouse from the south.

A trip up to the lighthouse is always worthwhile. The asphalted path (Green Path) through the town of Bastorf is the preferred option. The lighthouse, which is around 21 meters high, can be visited between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. every day. The cost (2024) is 4 euros. From the lighthouse itself you have a great view over the Baltic Sea and Kühlungsborn.

Coming from Neubukow, you walk directly past the fish ladder. A display board provides various information. Diagonally opposite, the path leads along the edge of the field to the beautiful Hellbachtal.

On a round trip around Rerik you automatically come to this mountain, from which you have a very beautiful view of Rerik, the lake and the adjacent pastures.
