In Althof, the ruins of the old monastery barn, a Cistercian building, are worth exploring. It is considered the oldest monastery agricultural building in Mecklenburg. A few meters further on, a chapel rises, which owes its current appearance to a 19th-century renovation of the old building. A gravestone commemorates Woizlawa, the wife of the Wendish prince Pribislav, who is buried here.

The Hanseatenweg is a hiking and cycling path connecting the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Szczecin.
