Immerse yourself in nature: the Søndre Plantage recreation area features forests, heathland, and a lake. It's a wonderful place for hiking. The first tree was planted here back in 1866.

I learned that the operators of the Pandkagehuset will be closing this year. It will likely continue to operate until a buyer is found. It's a real shame, it was always a special experience here. I'm curious to see what a future owner will do with it.

Phew - that takes courage and trust ;) Somehow it all seemed very rotten and shaky... but it held and I arrived on the other side dry and impressed :)

The entire trail around the lake was very impressive and colorful - I'll definitely be back... I would never have ended up here without Komoot ;)

Beautiful bridge. The floor is secured with wire mesh to prevent slipping, so you won't slip in rain or wet weather. 👍

We were already there shortly after 10am on our hike and had to find out that the opening hours start at 11:30am 😭😭

Kvie Lake is located about 2 km north of Ansager in West Jutland and covers an area of approximately 30 hectares, making it one of only six lakes in the former Ribe County that are 30 hectares or larger. The lake was formed after the last Ice Age, about 12,000 years ago. Kvie Lake and the surrounding areas (47 hectares in total) were protected in 1947/1969 and offer a beautiful nature experience!
