The Vesder dam is located on the Vesder, a few kilometers east of Eupen in the Belgian province of Liège. It is the area of the German-Belgian High Fens-Eifel Nature Park. The "Lake of Eupen" is the reservoir with the largest water reservoir in Belgium. Construction of the wall started in 1936. The dam is 410 meters long and has a height of 66 meters. Beautiful fog banks give you photographic pearls during the cooler months.

Very scenic in the Hohnbachtal but very adventurous in places over the footbridges

A highlight that you should have visited as part of a hike in the Solwaster area. Wonderful valley view and beautiful photo opportunities. The ascent via a secured path looks steeper than it actually is. The climb is definitely worth it! There is a spartan bench at the top, but that's enough for a rest.
