치마돌모에 있는 이 예배당의 수호성인은 정말 모두가 아는 이름을 가지고 있지만, 그 뒤에 있는 인물은 거의 알지 못할 것입니다. 성 실베스테르(San Silvestro) 축일은 12월 31일입니다. 그는 3세기 말, 4세기 초에 살았으며, 콘스탄티누스 황제가 밀라노 칙령 – "관용 칙령"으로 알려진 – 으로 기독교를 종교로 인정하고 (적어도 일시적으로) 피의 기독교 박해 시대를 끝냈을 때 로마의 주교였습니다.

The ride itself is very relaxing on a racing bike, given the time of year. The return route is much better, with much less traffic and secondary roads along the river. Next time, I'll always ride the same way there and back. Happy TOUR, everyone! 💪

The Church of San Silvestro Papa in Cimadolmo was rebuilt after the First World War, designed by architect Luigi Candiani, following the destruction of the previous place of worship during the First World War. The single-chamber building is oriented east-west, with an entrance to the east. In addition to the four side chapels, a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes was built in 1926 to the right of the presbytery. Rebuilt after the previous chapel was destroyed during the bombings, it features an artificial reproduction of the rock walls of a cave.

Torre di Fine was built in 1925, when the large drainage pump of the Lower Ongaro Land Reclamation Consortium was completed. A navigation lock that connected the Revedoli with the Ongaro and Crepaldo navigation canals had already been in operation since 1890. At the beginning of the 1920s, a hotel-tavern built by Baron Treves Bonfili of Padua, owner of the now reclaimed Tre Cavi valley, was in operation. The land for the construction of the church, inaugurated in 1929, was ceded by the Land Reclamation Consortium to the municipality of Grisolera. The first curate was Don Angelo Giorda (Venice 1877 - Mazzorbo 1953).
