Villa Arconati (also called Palazzo Arconati), popularly known as the Castellazzo, is one of the historic villas of the Groane Park, located in Bollate, in the Castellazzo di Bollate hamlet which takes its name from it. It is an example of eighteenth-century Lombard baroque and has been declared a national monument. Due to its size and grandiose style, in eighteenth-century guides it was defined as the petite Versailles italienne ("small Italian Versailles").

The facade of the church, which has salient features, has lateral wings slightly set back from the central portion, which is divided by pilasters and frames in numerous mirrors [1]; the main portal, the sides of which are affixed two plaques commemorating the Fallen, is surmounted by a niche hosting a statue, with the inscription S.S. PETRO ET PAVLO DICATVM and from the tympanum [1], while above the side portals there are two decorated panels [1]. InternalEdit The interior is divided into three naves, which are separated by pillars with a rectangular base [1]; the side aisles have barrel vaults, while the central one has a ribbed vault [1]. The point where the hall crosses the transept is covered by a dome [1]. Valuable works preserved here are the organ, built by Vittore Ermolli from Varese, the marble high altar, a carved pulpit and the depiction of the Blessed Virgin of Carmel, placed in the dome. source: Wikipedia
