Our Mur de Bretagne. From the traffic light or the end of the forest road, turn right into the narrow passage of houses and you'll find yourself on a beautiful, straight road that climbs gradually, like the legendary Breton climb. Once you reach the turnoff for the Osti Nati restaurant (known to older riders as "the Cuban"), the road reaches its steepest gradient, then flattens out for the last 300 meters until you reach the start of the Dorsale. Until the 1990s, it was often the site of junior and amateur cycling races. I myself rode it in the Montebelluna Classic, completing about ten laps before tackling the Mercato vecchi-Groppa double-header at the end. A "must" to warm up your legs before tackling the climbs of the Pedemontana.

A small refuge for cyclists, wayfarers and the curious. The Telaio Bike Caffè is more than a break: it is a place where you sit and feel part of something. Good coffee, sincere smiles, stories that intertwine between a water bottle that fills up and a fruit salad that runs out. If you are traveling to Casa Luciana or are simply enjoying the Venetian countryside, this is one of those places that is worth the detour.

Done today for the first time, well-maintained ground and I was very satisfied. First part with important slopes but that lets you take the climbing rhythm. Central part in the middle of the woods with the most important peaks, but now the challenge is launched. Light final part with the last few hundred meters with a spectacular view of Montebelluna and the plain up to the Euganean Hills. Also recommended for downhill.

The river ring of Padua is a spectacle immersed in nature that winds along the Piovego, Brenta, Brentella and Bacchiglione... counterclockwise of course. With its approximately 50km, it is almost all traveled on embankments and cycle paths, in the summer some places are equipped with tables and benches to enjoy the sound of nature. Suitable for everyone even for those who pedal every now and then, the time for a tourist pedal is less than 3 hours (more precisely from 2.20 to 2.45) but some stops are worth making ...

1917 was a terrible year for Italy, but above all for the Treviso region. The Italian soldiers at Caporetto were defeated by the Austro-Hungarian empire and proved incapable of slowing down their advance. In those days the bishop of Treviso Msgr. Andrea Giacinto Longhin (proclaimed blessed by John Paul II on 20 October 2002), seeing the grave danger looming over the entire Venetian plain, promised that if the Madonna had spared his diocese and Italy, arresting the enemies in the afterlife Piave, he would have erected a church dedicated to the Virgin on the top of Montello.
