A very nice Malga (a mountain inn) with three rooms and 14 beds. Bookings can be made in advance. The Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes) is highly recommended.

With the bus line 246 from Merano to the Gampenpass. From there the 50s hiking route to Schönegg. Fantastic view. Then along the ridge to the fork in the road to the Felix hut. Here you can have a good meal. Then about 5 minutes to the Felix pond and then the descent to St. Felix. From there back with the 246 bus.
