Nice, well-attended refuge

A beautiful refuge in a very panoramic location, accessible from the Croce d'Aune Pass via the long military road (also accessible by mountain bike, with caution). The refuge is the starting point for many hikes in the Feltrine Alps, including Mount Pavione, the highest peak.

Refreshment point with excellent first courses

Rifugio Brentari, named after Ottone Brentari, has a history tied to the Società Alpinisti Tridentini (SAT) and its evolution over time. Construction began in the early twentieth century, and it was the first refuge in the Lagorai mountain range, Cima d'Asta, and suffered significant damage during both world wars.

The Rifugio Cima d'Asta Ottone Brentari, at 2,473 m, is located in the Lagorai group. Open seasonally from June to September, it offers beds (also in the winter room) and is managed by the SAT. Typical cuisine and breathtaking views. For information: www.rifugio-cimadasta.it.
