The Bastion is a fortress with a round tower that was built between 1507 and 1509 by the Republic of Venice.

Riva del Garda is located on the northern tip of Lake Garda and is the second largest town on the lake with around 16,000 inhabitants. Around the promenade in Riva d. G. you will find great ice cream parlors, restaurants and attractions.

The excellent path is very steep and paved with pebbles, it is better to take a detour via the tar road! The ruins on the rock are definitely worth a visit!
