Spectacular building also known as the Castle of Trento, located in the centre of the city and currently adapted and converted into a historical museum. It was the residence of the prince-bishops and has its origins - visible today - in the large tower built in the 13th century. In 1475 it was renovated in the Gothic style of the time, which can be seen in some details of the rooms. There are also the cells of the soldiers who were prisoners of the First World War and who were shot in the castle moat, although these are not open to the public.

Castel Pietra has belonged to the same family since 1738. Over the centuries the castle has suffered bombings and robberies but has come intact and well preserved to our times thanks to the care of the people who lived there. The first phase of an important restoration has just finished. The Castle is now accessible for visits and for holding all types of events.
