dirt road at the top of Salto di Bracigliano, the trail begins after a climb on asphalt with a challenging slope. The trail leads to the highest part of Laura. The descent is fun, much more suitable for MTB than gravel, but with generous and properly deflated tires it becomes very fun and even fast if you want.

Definitely not accessible by bike, at least not at this time of year. The path is completely overgrown, and even on foot it was barely passable. But the grotto is worth the effort!

The structure, located between the municipalities of Nola and Visciano, can be visited more flexibly than in the past and women are allowed to enter, which until a few years ago was forbidden. From a geographical point of view, the Hermitage stands on a mountain that since 1601 has been called Mount Visciano. Later it changed its name to Camaldoli. From the foundation tables we learn that a Nolan patrician named Pompeo Fellecchia had a brother who wore the Camaldolese habit in the hermitage of RUA, in the Padua area, where in 1584, he took religious vows. Upon the death of his brother Pompeo, in homage to him, he left a large part of his property to the hermitage of the Incoronata on the condition that a hermitage be built in the Camaldoli area of Nola. The Hermitage, today entrusted to the priests of the Piccola Opera, remains a place of silence and uncontaminated nature. Numerous spiritual retreats, conferences and conventions are held here. Very difficult gravel at the start of the trail, it gets better later on. There are places where you sink your wheels into the earth, be careful!

Town of over 30,000 inhabitants, Nola was the birthplace of the philosopher Giordano Bruno and is also known for the popular Catholic tradition called the "Festa dei Ligli".
