The oak tree and bench are a landmark. Coming from the direction of Oederan, one looks back south towards the Ore Mountains panorama after having conquered the ascent through the Oederan municipal forest.

Beautiful covered parking area by ponds on the Glockenpfad trail between Frankenstein and Memmendorf.

There is a bench with a view along the bell trail. Next to it is an information panel with explanations about the Memmendorf-Frankenstein limestone quarries.

A roughly 6 km long route leads from the city park, behind the "Little Ore Mountains" miniature park, through the city forest, and ends in the heart of the city at the "Family and Adventure Worlds." The Richard Wagner Monument was dedicated on May 19, 1935. The memorial stone stands in the park at the Little Ore Mountains on Minna-Planer-Weg. The monument consists of three roughly hewn boulders of mica schist. A bronze relief with a portrait bust of Richard Wagner is affixed to the central stone. Farm Life with Petting Zoo and Adventure Playground On our small farm, you can observe alpacas, sheep, and goats, as well as wallabies and rheas. The goats also enjoy being petted in a specially designed petting zoo. We kindly ask that you do not feed the animals, as they are well cared for and additional feeding can lead to illness.
