The half-mile post bears the year 1722 and the inscriptions "Oedran 1/2 St." and "Chemnitz 5 1/8 St.", as well as the row number 22. It is made of Hilbersdorf porphyry tuff and once stood in front of Oederan, on the right side of the road coming from Freiberg.
