The Hanseatenweg is a hiking and cycling path connecting the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Szczecin. It is intended to commemorate the importance of the Hanseatic League in the Middle Ages and the early modern period and promote European cooperation. It was initiated by a project of the Northern Regional Association of the German Friends of Nature.

It is actually a very nice and slightly hidden resting place. From under the trees you have a beautiful view of the hilly landscape. In the evening the sun shines in.

Located in the middle of the beech forest are these fish ponds, which belonged to the Althof and Doberan monastery estate.

Bridge in the forest for a short break. Great spot in all seasons. The tour is designed for XC and freeriders. Lots of small, tough climbs and worthwhile descents. Watch out for hikers! We share the forest. Also pay attention to the trails and don't ride randomly through the forest!
