Basedow Castle is a real eye-catcher and beautiful to look at. Together with Lenné Park and the small village with the village church, it forms a wonderful ensemble. Unfortunately, the castle itself can only be partially visited as part of a guided tour. But it is also worth seeing from the outside. There is a small path leading directly around the castle. The park is free and freely accessible and it is also worth taking a long walk here. The reflection of the castle in the adjacent village pond is also beautiful!👌 - why they have created several highlights for the same thing here is a mystery to me, as it is completely unnecessary! -

Ulrichshusen Castle is actually a manor house. It is beautifully situated on the Ulrichshusen Lake. The castle is used as an upscale hotel. But there is not just the castle with the small castle garden directly adjacent. Rather, it is an entire ensemble on the Ulrichshusen estate. Ulrichshusen Castle is a manor house in Ulrichshusen, a village belonging to Moltzow in the Mecklenburg Lake District. With its three-storey main building and the typical stepped gables, it is one of the most important Renaissance buildings in Mecklenburg. The building is located on a hill on the southern shore of Lake Ulrichshusen. Today it is used as a hotel. Outbuildings of the complex are used for various public events. Since 1994, the castle has been one of the main locations of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, which takes place every year during the summer season throughout the state.
