You reach the grave via the road between Steinfeld (Oldenburg) and Damme, Dammer Straße. From here you turn east into Eichenallee. The extension of Eichenallee leads southeast into the forest. After about 300 meters you will see the megalithic tomb on the right, about 30 meters south of the path. It is also known as Stappenberg. A really great, quiet route on a narrow path across the city, highly recommended!

The old railway embankment route between Damme and Holdorf is simply a dream for cycling.

Top section of the route. Elsewhere you cycle along disused railway lines over bumpy forest paths to the end of the tour. I wish there were more cycle paths like this! We have enough unused, disused connections, bridges and tunnels.

Nice bike route, pleasant driving

The tower looks huge and is always open to visitors. The route can be strenuous from some sides. From the top, the view is great in all directions. There are also some garden benches and tables. The environment is very quiet.

The "Bexaddetal nature walk" educational trail consists of two circuits that can easily be combined (circuit 1: 1 - 17; circuit 2: 18 - 26). At various observation points, each marked by a number, the walker should be encouraged to get a little closer to nature. Things can often be observed there that you might not notice at first glance.
