Depending on the weather, it can be muddy. Still, I always plan it with pleasure in my gravel rides in this area. The strip takes you wonderfully through the floodplains and is a good connection to other strips in the area.

From Mook you can start on a short descending asphalt section and then you will immediately gain speed. Depending on the circumstances, many puddles from rainfall can occur (and it can become a bit slippery), because this beautiful road passes through a fairly low-lying area.

Gravel road that is more often than not muddy. If you don't mind getting a little dirty, this is a great gravel bike lane. With the racer I think I would rather ignore it.

This small road winds nicely along the south side of the Mooks Canal and the Mookerplas. Beautiful surroundings and beautiful panoramic view over the water.

Nice connection between Mook and Plasmolen for if you do not want to drive along the busy national road. In the summer it can be very busy with "roadside swimming fish BBQ tourists" (Many parked cars) and cyclists

This small road winds nicely along the north side of the Mooks Canal and the Mookerplas. Beautiful surroundings and beautiful panoramic view over the water.

Nice gravel segment and there are more of them in a southerly direction. This can also be a starting point for a gravel ride to De Maasduinen. Additional comment (as of Oct. '21): the road is gradually becoming of lower quality. More and more pits/holes and crushed stone also seem to have been pressed further into the ground. Much muddier faster these days. Time for a new layer of gravel.
