The Reindersmeer is a vulnerable nature reserve with rare plants and animals. That is why you are not allowed to go off the paths, recreate on the banks or swim in the lake. Dogs must be kept on a leash; they like to explore and can unintentionally disturb nature. (Well aan de Maas)

Very nice bike path, like most in NL.

A detour to the dunes and sandy paths is also worth it. However, rather unsuitable by bike. Here you can only push your bike.

From this path you can walk/hike into the beautiful de Hamert heath area on one side, on the other side a natural stream meanders, where I also saw kingfishers a few years ago (this is also advertised on an information board)
