Brunsbüttel Lock You should take part in the lock tour if you're already there. The tour lasts two hours. You can get a brief overview of the lock beforehand and view the model building. This is located next to the tourist information office.

Always worth a visit, you can get really close to the ships on the visitor platform. Depending on the tide on the Elbe, the ships go up or down 1.40m. It's nice to watch.
