Home port Büsum. The Helgoland is a patrol boat of the Schleswig-Holstein Police's water police and belongs to the Fassmer FPB 34 class. Its home port is Büsum, which belongs to the Brunsbüttel district. The ship was built for 7.4 million euros and christened on November 5, 2014 by Schleswig-Holstein's Finance Minister Monika Heinold. It replaced a previous boat of the same name that had been in use since 1973. The boat is named after the North Sea island of Helgoland.
