A very beautiful old Gothic building in the heart of Greifswald.

The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Joseph in Greifswald is a neo-Gothic brick building located on the southern edge of Greifswald's old town at the corner of Bahnhofstraße and Rubenowstraße. It is dedicated to St. Joseph of Nazareth, the betrothed of Mary, the mother of Jesus.

The Störtebeker Brewery Inn is located in Greifswald's market square and is open daily from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The kitchen is open continuously from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It offers the full range of Störtebeker brewery specialties, eight of which are available fresh from the tap. The building is in the Gothic style and features a distinctive brick facade.

The central, rotating, cable-supported section, which is driven by a hydraulic cylinder, consists of a 15 m long superstructure that spans from the mast to the center of the harbor and serves as a passage for historic sailing ships to their berths in the museum harbor.

The listed old post office building on the market square is being converted into a technical town hall. A new building will expand the town hall into a modern office complex for the city administration and the citizens' office.
