A lovely stop on a hike – the tree is located just above Kavousi and can be reached in about 20-30 minutes, depending on the route and walking pace. Impressive trunk girth 😳 and an incredible age.

Climb the last few meters over the rocks to get to the water. There is no shade here, but you can jump from the stones into the water and have a great swim.

A nice tour by bike from Ierapetra. Everything is included. From the extreme gravel uphill and downhill to the main road. But Pachia Ammos can only be reached from the south.

On the old road there is a covered viewpoint to the valley of the dead. Those who dare to venture further forward (sometimes the wind blows so hard here that you can hardly stand upright) sees the green bottom of the gorge, which winds through the rocks like a snake.

if you follow this track to the very end, you will find not only impressive views of the whole Mirabello Bay, but also the sunset there is breathtaking. You can see the Dikti mountain range and you can have an idea of how big these mountains and the island is! Also its very easy to ride it, anyone can go to that point.
