From Via Stazione, there are interesting views up to the old town perched on the mountain, with its mighty castle. To the right (northeast), the path leads to the Celano Gorge, either over the mountain with its magnificent views (see corresponding HL) or around it.

The castle of San Donato is located in the village of the same name, whose remains are at an altitude of 1174 metres. There are visible ruins of the castle, two circular towers and the staircase from which to descend.

The village of Ovindoli stands at 1375 m asl in the presence of Mount Magnola. It is located within the Sirente-Velino Regional Natural Park, in the so-called "Altopiano delle Rocche". In addition to the naturalistic beauties, it is also worth mentioning its ancient castle-enclosure dating back to an era between the 12th and 14th centuries.
