The Evangelical Lutheran St. Catherine's Church in Westensee is under the patronage of Saint Catherine of Alexandria. The fieldstone building dates mainly from the first half of the 13th century. The Gothic choir and the massive brick west tower were added later. Burial chapels for local nobles have been added to the north and east sides.
