Old Satow church from the 13th century, over the centuries more and more bricks crumbled and the church was sold for 425 thalers for demolition. Friedrich Franz II, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg, prevented further demolition. Today it is idyllically located in a small park by the lake.

The Trechower See is located in the municipality of Bernitt in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The eponymous district of Kurzen Trechow with the manor house Burg Trechow is located on the south and east banks of the lake. The western area is used for agriculture. The lake is a little indented body of water with a water surface of about 28 hectares. The lakeshore has a reed belt around it. It is about 900 meters long and up to 450 meters wide

Right on Lake Bützow, romantic and close to nature on the Warnow. Camping and water rest hiking area with canoe and paddle boat rental. Family run with nice hosts.

the cemetery around the old church or around its ruin turned into a park-like area. The ruin has been renovated and structurally secured in recent years in order to keep it from decaying further. The ruin is really worth seeing.

A nice destination! The bathing area at Grosstessiner See in Klein Sien. There is a large jetty, seating and a fire bowl. I was here on an Augusstag, it was over 30 degrees. It was a mother with her two children on site. The place is not crowded. It goes slowly into the water, so the place is also well suited for children.
