From here you have a beautiful view over Lake Krakow and the NSG Krakower Obersee. You can simply enjoy the view or take the time to observe the numerous water birds more closely.

The second oldest climatic health resort in Mecklenburg is located directly on the shore of one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. Numerous hills, some of which are wooded, surround the bay-rich shore zones.

The observation tower on the Jörnberg was blown up in 1945 and rebuilt in 1994-1995. It is 28 m high and 126 steps lead up the tower. A climb is really worth it. You will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view over the Krakow Lake District.
