The preservation and restoration of the functionality and efficiency of the ecosystem and the usability of the natural assets, the diversity, uniqueness and beauty of the landscape as well as the special importance of the area for recreation are essential. The 8,400 hectare area, the landscape protection area Dobbertiner Seenlandschaft and middle Mildenitztal, extends along the Mildenitz north of Goldberg over the Dobbertiner See, the Dobbiner and Klädener Plage to the Lenzener See in the area of the municipality of Mustin.

Lake Garda is about two kilometers west of Lohmen. This natural lake is located in a hilly terminal moraine landscape in the Mittleres Mildenitztal landscape protection area and is therefore also part of the Sternberg lake landscape. There is an official bathing area in the Garden district, and there are also countless unsupervised accesses to the lake. In addition to the bathers, there is also a fisherman who supplies the nearby hotels and restaurants with freshly caught fish.

Located in one of the most beautiful corners of the lake district, directly at the campsite, a small, dreamlike bay that invites you to sit down and relax and enjoy!
