Not far from Kösterbeck is the idyllic Kösterbecker See in Rostock Switzerland. There are great cycling and hiking trails in this area.

The Kösterbecker See belongs to the nature reserve of the same name in Rostock Switzerland. A quiet spot where you can linger for a while.

coastal channel The excavation sites at Torfbrücke in the Rostocker Heide (see photos) and Hof Körkwitz near Ribnitz can still be found today. They have been left to their own devices and have thus become part of their natural surroundings. Today, the 15.5 kilometers of the unfinished canal along the Trebel are mainly used for tourism by holidaymakers and anglers.

Small bathing area with jetty, a snack bar to recharge your batteries, a playground for the children to romp about. A little insider tip :)

The Radelsee nature reserve is a nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is located immediately south-east of Markgrafenheide and includes the Radelsee as well as bogs, meadows and forests to the east. The areas were designated as a nature reserve on October 23, 1990, with an extension in 1993. The current size is 220 hectares.

Here you can take a rest at a beautiful little pond. One of the stations on the discovery trail is also located here.

There is also a lawn and a jetty.
