After Kühberg, the trail continues through the forest for a while before the panorama opens up towards Jöhstadt. We encountered very little traffic here, and the road was in good condition. It was fun to climb.

With every step, closer to the summit – the Fichtelberg climb on the Stoneman Miriquidi Road. From the intersection, it's not far anymore, and motivation gets a final boost.

The longest climb on the Miriquidi Road – and I was climbing at night. There was hardly any traffic, absolute peace and quiet, and a view of the starry sky at the summit. An adventure that makes Klínovec even more unforgettable.

The Catholic Church of St. Boniface belongs to the Catholic parish of "Mary, Mother of the Church." This parish stretches from Thum through Annaberg-Buchholz, Bärenstein, Oberwiesenthal, Marienberg, and Olbernhau to Neuhausen. In September 2021, St. Boniface celebrated the centenary of its consecration.

A top-notch route. In summer, the sun beats down on the asphalt. But you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view at the top.

The road has been partially re-asphalted.

From the edge of Ehrenfriedersdorf, a moderate incline (approx. 8%) on a two-lane road towards Freiberg, is followed by a great descent to Wolkenstein and then a wonderful ride through the Heidelbach valley to Zschopau, highly recommended. Almost no traffic!

Coming from the direction of Hopfgarten, right at the first traffic light before the railway crossing, on the right-hand side, within a small hedge. One bench is broken, but the second is still usable. There is a small stone table and a waste bin. With a view of Scharfenstein Castle.
