In 1628, the von Arnim family refused to give the priest his four parish hooves again. The previous building was destroyed and rebuilt in the Thirty Years' War and in 1675. During the Baroque period, the windows were widened and a tower with a hood and lantern was added in 1709. After the fall of the Wall, an extensive restoration took place in 1994/1995. The Baumgarten church is a medieval fieldstone building on a rectangular plan with a west tower of the same width from the second half of the 13th century. The church was repeatedly destroyed by fires. In 1687, he is still referred to as wild. By 1709, it was rebuilt with a half-timbered top of the tower. The top of the tower has an open lantern above the curved roof. Also in the 18th century, the windows were replaced and the ridge was lowered. In the years 1994-1997, the church was thoroughly renovated, including painting the interior. The interior dates from the 18th century. The baroque altar of the pulpit has a symmetrical staircase and is decorated with allegorical figures and sculptural decoration. It dates from 1696. The patron chairs to the right and left of the altar have a delicate rococo crown. The baptismal angel from around 1720 was restored in 1998. A special element is the organ gallery with a children's choir located a few steps below. The organ was destroyed in 1945.
