Great bike path to Peenemünde

The island of Usedom is home to one of the most important sites in German rocket and space history: the Peenemünde rocket test site. The Peene Bridge is a combined road and rail bascule bridge over the Peene River. It connects Wolgast or the offshore castle island with the island of Usedom. It was inaugurated in 1996.
