At the top of the Scharzfelder Dolomites you have a great view and a slightly different view than usual from the cliffs. Unfortunately it is very loud because of the main road - but it's still worth it...

At the former inner-German border crossing at Duderstadt-Worbis, the Grenzlandmuseum Eichsfeld provides information about the history of the division of Germany and Europe from 1945 to 1990. The early Christian stone-carved church with much older history in the forecourt is an impressive site. A trip is worth it! The forecourt has several rest areas with a view of Scharzfeld.
