Today we had planned a group run. Since that unfortunately had to be cancelled, Johanna and I drove to the Egge hills to get in as much elevation gain as possible – preparation is everything 😉

Beautiful weather + a day off work = the perfect combination for a mother-daughter hike 😁
So, we headed straight to Essen Kupferdreh in the morning and off we went. Stunning autumnal views, some steep climbs, and relaxing forest paths made for a lovely hike. After 20 km, we took a short break at Haus

Today was finally a Tuesday with dry weather – so we took the mountain bikes out for a spin. A pleasant breeze, full moonlight, and great conversation with the world's best evening companions made for another perfect end to the day 🤗

Today, in the gloomy weather, we left the bikes in the dry and went for a walk through the fields, chattering away happily—all the way to pleasant, sunny Greece. Well, at least it was warm in our local Greek restaurant 😅

Checked out of the apartment early, put on my rain jacket, and headed to the Bastei – even though it was only 9°C and drizzling 😅
Instead of sunrise, there was fog, but that had its own magic. 🌫️
The rocks slowly emerged from the gray, with hardly any people around – perfect for enjoying the atmosphere

Light rain, mist in the valley, drops on the lens – and yet (or perhaps because of that) one of those moments that stay with you.
Today we deliberately opted for a short hike and took plenty of time on the Schrammsteine.
