The first lock between the Haussee and the Stolpsee was built in connection with the navigability of the Woblitz in 1752. In order to accommodate the growing shipping on the waters there, a lock was built between 1879 and 1882 according to the Finow standard, reconstructed in 1907 and renovated and rebuilt in 1976. The first lock at this point was built in 1752 when the Woblitz was made navigable. The lock was built from 1779 to 1782 according to Finow dimensions and rebuilt in 1976. The system is a self-service lock

The snack bar is open until 8 p.m. (As of October 3rd, 2021) Here you can enjoy an Aperol Spritz in peace after having walked around the lake.

Quiet bike path, far from car noise. Sometimes a couple of boats come by.

Here it drives quickly and it is wonderful to cycle right along the stitches, some of which are to the right and left of you.
