The Our is a 96 km long tributary of the Sauer along the border between Belgium and Germany. The Vennbahn crosses the national borders several times in this area. The landscape in the valley of the Our is simply beautiful and you can't get enough of it.

Two old tunnels: one for bats, the other for us :) It's fun to drive through and in summer it's also a nice way to cool off. Right in front of the tunnel there's a nice little viaduct that's no longer in use.

Beautiful little river with picturesque views of the surrounding area.

Beautiful railway path. One of the most beautiful I know.

Sankt Vith was 90% destroyed in the Allied bombing on December 25/26, 1944. Reconstruction lasted until the 1960s.

Great location, definitely worth a visit. If you look closely at the stone you can still see parts of the writing that was once there. Unfortunately the writing is almost illegible due to shrapnel etc.

It is not without reason that the Vennbahn is a highlight among cycling enthusiasts, enjoy it from start to finish, with regular information boards, rest areas... Best to do in spring or autumn because of the views.

A very scenic section of the Vennbahn and the route has now been completely completed here too and you no longer have to drive the strange loop.
