The Bahnholz is a forest and field name south of Hofheim-Langenhain, primarily known for a significant archaeological find. Celtic Hoard: In 1904, 29 bronze objects from the early La Tène period (c. 450–100 BC) were discovered during excavation work in the Bahnholz. The find comprised 28 bronze discs, which were presumably used as decorations for horse harnesses.
