마크틀루가스트‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪9‬개의 산 정상

페터레스슈타인은 매혹적인 자연 기념물입니다. 높이 589미터의 이 산은 자철석이 포함된 사문암으로 구성되어 있어 나침반 바늘이 이곳에서 미친다고 합니다. 하지만 우리는 여러 장소에서 시도했지만 나침반은 정상적으로 방향을 가리켰습니다.

The Haidberg is on the edge of the Fichtelgebirge at 697 meters and is a striking scenic part of the Münchberg gneiss mass. It consists of serpentinite, a green-blue rock that derives its name from the Latin word serpens = snake because the surface is similar to a snake's skin. A geological peculiarity is the embedded magnetite, which pushes the compass needle out of its true direction even in small pieces of rock.

Beautiful 19 m high observation tower with a great view of the surrounding area, a panoramic window makes orientation easier. In the Middle Ages there was a watchtower here, the construction of the observation tower in its present form took place in 1925. At the tower there is a restaurant with a beautiful beer garden, the staff is "Franconian grumpy".

At the end of my tour I'm still on the Peterlestein. A rocky path, actually very beautiful. Just not so much at the end of the tour just before dark...

my home territory. Around the Döbraberg you can cross-country ski in winter on a groomed trail. Otherwise there are many forest and trail paths for biking. It would be interesting to see a picture of a compass on the Peterlesstein and somehow convincing evidence that the compass spins. This is probably only the case in a few places. The Peterlesstein is rather unsuitable for people who use the mountain bike trails, as it is practically impassable. It is best to park the bike at the upper end, i.e. on the northern edge of the hill in the forest, and climb the last few meters on foot. This is not recommended from the south, as it is much longer.

The Weißenstein (668 m) is the home mountain of the Stammbachers. The observation tower (19 m high) offers a wide panoramic view of the nearby Fichtelgebirge, the Franconian Forest and the Upper Main Valley. Eclogite, a rare green rock with red inclusions, was also found here. The eclogite occurrence at Weißenstein is the largest single occurrence in Central Europe. The area is under nature protection.
