Historic Captain's House, a so-called eaves house, built in 1776 by Captain and shipowner Tade Hans Bandix. The "Pesel" (parlor) is the most impressive room. King Frederick VI of Denmark chose this elegantly furnished room for his overnight stay when he was caught in a storm surge during a tour of the ship (1825). Wells and Festhinge Hallig Hooge has no fresh water springs.
