The hand-operated bridge is a real experience. Approved only for vehicles with a special permit and otherwise for pedestrians and cyclists. It is opened manually by two people for incoming and outgoing boats and ships (e.g. SSS Greif).
A picturesque little harbor – probably primarily for fishing, but also serving ferry services to destinations including Peenemünde. The overall picture is rounded off by the plentiful restaurants.
Nice path on the Ryck with mobile gravel (also with 23 tires). Not recommended in wet weather, as this creates a lot of puddles and mud. A lot of excursion traffic with pedestrians is to be expected at the weekend.
