The Rote Spitze is a 2,130 m high mountain in the Vilsalpsee Mountains group of the Allgäu Alps in Tyrol. It lies in front of the ridge and thus rises amidst the summits of the Alplsee and Traualpsee lakes.

A tough climb, not suitable for everyone. But you will be rewarded for it. The beautiful mountain lake offers a wonderful view before you set off on the last stretch to the Landsberger Hut.

Striking panoramic summit near the Landsberger Hütte. From the western Lachenjoch, the Rote Spitze can be conquered within a few minutes without any major difficulties, the path leads exclusively through meadows. It can get slippery when wet.
